Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
This was the most miserable day of testing ever for me. The tests were easy, but… Well, shit sucks. And everyone in this class (who I must mention went on each SLC event and trip and got the full education I was never given but promised) are being more damn annoying than ever. They all have sustained at lowest D’s after they just pretty much screwed around with their finals and didn’t give a shit, while I was working my ass off, more stressed than I’ve ever been in my life, failing to even pass.
Cause they didn’t even bother to send me a summons at any part of the year to tell me about these events like they were supposed to, and I was being told I was a Humanitas student in all the correct classes, which was a huge lie. They owe me this and all the lessons I could not learn due to horrid circumstances of which they are also responsible for. And if they dare have me do everything you guys did but alone, I’ll be absolutely livid. I was supposed to do it with people I know but then they screwed up and kept me patiently waiting long after it happened, then smashed my feelings in to smithereens just as I was working on my most important grade-improving assignments and studying for my finals. I shouldn’t have to suffer the awkwardness of going on a field trip alone after they already put me through this easily avoidable shitstorm. I was told I was entitled to go on these trips with my fellow Humanitas students, and I better damn well have these trips and events.
Of anyone was wondering, I haven’t gotten over this school bullshit thing. I have my fifth period final tomorrow. I really don’t want to go. I hate that class more than ever, now.
So I got a burger from Denny’s, and when they placed it in front of me, it looked like a fucking crab. I think it must’ve been unintentional, as Denny’s isn’t a crustacean themed restaurant. #burger #dennys #what (Taken with instagram)
What reference images should I attempt drawing? I don’t find it to be any what of a challenge, and don’t ever feel all that talented or proud after drawing from them, but if it’s something I could learn from drawing, like character anatomy or some other cool jazz, I’ll be down.

If I ever get a tattoo or something based off of something from a video game, it’s going to be a Jiggy from Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie. Just saying. Those games, and N64 in general, were a very large part of my childhood. But it wouldn’t just be me paying homage to the game, to truly understand what the Jiggy means to me, you have to dig a bit deeper. To me, the jigsaw piece symbolizes two things, the goals that I strive for in life and the rewards that those goals yield. In the game, Banjo and Kazooie go through the different worlds of the game and collect different collectibles, some more valuable than others. However, the most important collectible of all is the Jiggy, for it lets you complete the puzzle pictures that allow you to unlock new worlds and progress to new areas of the game in order to beat it. Those goals all peice themselves together to create the larger picture that I’m trying to achieve so I can proceed to the next level of my life. You get them by completing tasks, solving puzzles, defeating bosses, trekking through difficult areas, and helping out characters to name a few. It also represents how the goals themselves are the reward, the Jiggy being a solid gold puzzle piece, and shows how the overall journey to the goals is more rewarding than achieving the goal itself; the smaller goal (Jigsaw Peice) is just a part of another larger goal (Jigsaw Puzzle) which is again part of a larger goal (Beating the game). The Jiggy is very much like the Starman from the Super Mario series and other premier collectibles of renowned platformers of N64 yesteryear, however, the jigsaw piece speaks more to me because it is more puzzle derived and reminds me of the challenging nature of my difficult trials through life.
Also, the Banjo-Kazooie games are just plain fucking awesome in all respects. ♥
I wish people would stop posting photos from the field trip.
I’m awkward when it comes to any kind of conventions.
